Brady is 6 months

Another month has flown by and Brady will soon be 6 months. At this stage in the game he is doing a even more neat things... like sitting up. He's been quite the curious character from birth, and so now to be able to sit up on his own and look around the whole room he can keep better tabs on his big brothers. For some odd reason though, he likes to reach for the toys furthest from him, and therefore tips over forwards. No rug burn yet. He could have a pile at his feet, but he's reaching for the one 2 feet out.

Rolling over has become another fun thing to do too. He can go from back to front and front to back... but exactly when he wants to. Often times you'll hear muffled cries as he's rolled onto his belly and can't figure out how to get back over again... he only likes tummy time so much. He can really get himself all turned around and most times ends up a good couple feet from where he was plopped. The only problem we're having with all this rolling is that Mommy is called into his room at the wee hours of the morning, because Mr Antsy Pants has got himself hung up in the rungs of the crib. He's been found with legs sticking out, or his head right up on the rungs, today at nap time he was pinned on his belly with an arm between the mattress and the rungs and his sucky jabbing his face. I think I might have to tie this kid down!? When we don't have wild nights, he's sleeping straight through from about 7:30pm-5:30am with a little tweaking I'm hoping to see a later wake up time...soon.

With 6 months of age, comes FOOD!! Yes, its time to unleash the taste buds and explore the fanciful world of food. He's been hanging in there with the rice cereal, and so we've introduced every child's favorite...SWEET POTATO! No big face of enthusiasm, or rejection, so it went pretty well. Its hard to tell how much got to his belly...the hands were in the way a lot, and orange is such a fun color to smear everywhere. Say goodbye to the crisp clean clothes...and bring on the ZOUT.

After a busy morning of playing and eating its time for a big fat bottle of milk and nice nap before we do it all over again in the afternoon...
